Mike is best known in the powerlifting world for his world-record squat of 1,220 pounds (the first man in history to do this), and he is also the third man in history to officially bench 800 pounds.

He spent close to 2 years in the WXW as a professional wrester named "Rage". Mike can also be seen in the new Mickey Rourke movie called, "The Wrestler", where he plays a character named Lex Lethal.

Most recently, he is training to fight in mixed martial arts competition and plans to make his way into the UFC where he's sure to do some serious damage to his opponents.

At the peak of his career, Mike weighed in well over 400 pounds at 6' 4". But as you can imagine, being that large, coupled with using "any means necessary" to get bigger and stronger was really starting to take its toll on his health. So he decided to retire from powerlifting competition and focus on getting healthier.
